The Moderates polls high
In a poll conducted by Sifo the Swedish Moderate Party got their highest poll numbers in 12 years.
Despite the buoyant figures a dark cloud hovers over the Alliance government as coalition partner the Christian Democrats remained under the 4 percent threshold for claiming parliamentary seats.
The Sifo poll, published in several newspapers on Sunday, shows that the Moderates, with 31.1 percent, are at their highest level of support since 1997 and increased by 4.9 percentage points since February.
It’s a clear sign of trust from the swedish public towards the governments handling of the economic crisis. It is also fascinating to note that the Socialdemocrats aren’t able to capitalize more on the crisis and put forward a reasonable and coherent plan for how to get through it. If it should be any indicator about how they will handle themselves in the 2012 election they’re in for a rough ride.
More on Malmö
Alright, perhaps I’m overdoing it. But here is another article worth a read on Malmö.
At least the city is getting a lot of publicity lately.

Malmö
I mentioned Malmö in another post. Here’s more on the subject.
Massive immigration has made Malmö today one quarter Muslim, and stands to transform it into a Muslim majority city within just a few decades. One of the most popular baby names is not Sven, but Mohammed. Pork has been taken off some school menus. Want to learn to drive? You can attend Malmö’s own “Jihad Driving School.”
